"Is Jesus God," & Numbers 23:19

RE: Numbers 23:19 & "Is Jesus God?"

Hello everyone,

Yes, Jesus is my Lord, my Savior, & my God. (Jhn 7:31: And many of the people believed on Him, and said, When Christ cometh, will He do more miracles than these which this [man] hath done?)

Thank you for providing a discussion on one of my favorite Bible verses, Numbers 23:19. I have quoted this scripture very often in my prayers, before my Heavenly Father, & also as a testimony of faith before the cowardly Jinn, since the time I attended Bible School in my youth.

Numb 23:19 states, God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do [it]? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Well, here is the meaning, as it pertains to Jesus, & as it applies to mankind. First of all, Jesus had to do what the first Adam failed to do, that is, obey God. (Romans 5:19: For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous. Hebrews 5:8: Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.) Second, Jesus had to become a substitute, a willing sacrifice, in order to qualify as our Redeemer. His blood had to be shed on Calvary as The Spotless Lamb of God, our Passover Lamb. (1Cor 5:7b: Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.)

Just so that we understand, Adam sinned when he allowed his wife, Eve, to be beguiled by the serpent; meanwhile, his own participation was akin to spiritual high treason, a cataclysmic indictment against mankind. (Gen 3:1 & 5: Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, LEST YE DIE. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that IN THE DAY ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.)

Adam's sin was so grievous that he actually died spiritually on the very day he sinned. This means he was separated spiritually from God because of "the dividing wall" of sin. (Gen 2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for IN THAT DAY that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen 5:5: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. Eph 2:14: For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]) Separation from God is the ultimate punishment.

Adam was commanded to "KEEP" the garden, but he lacked the character & fortitude to follow God's simple command. (Gen 2:15: And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to KEEP IT.) Due to his disobedience, Adam had to relinquish his authority over planet earth, to the Master Jinn. This created the scenario we experience today, a world dominated by greed, pride, violence & lust. Consequently, confusion & ignorance, prompted by spiritual darkness, has interfered with the knowledge & understanding of the Godhead. (Act 17:2: Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Rom 1:20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:)

In addition, spiritual communication has been impeded through Adam's sin; however, Jesus' obedience at Calvary has revitalized our heavenly channels. (John 4:23: But the HOUR cometh, and NOW is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.)

Third, Jesus made salvation possible, although it cost Him "The Ultimate Price," His Life. He could have backed down, but like Numbers 23:19b says, "hath He said, and shall He not do [it]? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" (Jhn 18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Isaiah 53:12: Therefore I will give Him a portion among the great, and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. )

Jesus is referred to as the last Adam. (1Cor 15:45: So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being;" the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.) Jesus "stood in the gap," for humanity, literally between Heaven & Hell. (Hbr 2:9b: by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.) So, the Cross is our "ticket to Heaven."

Eph 2:15,16 by abolishing in his flesh the Law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this One body to reconcile both of them to God through the Cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
Phl 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death- even death on a Cross!
Phl 3:18 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the Cross of Christ.
Col 1:20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
Col 2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He TOOK IT AWAY, nailing it to the Cross.
Col 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the Cross.
Hbr 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Act 2:21: And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord, [Jesus,] shall be saved.

Men have tried to win back God's favor ever since "The Fall." "Work, obey, work, obey, work, obey" defines this worldly mindset, but God is through with this sensual reasoning. The Law was handed down, through Moses, to draw attention to the futility of our own self righteous efforts, the deadness of our deeds, to please God. (Romans 7:14: But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good [The Law;] that sin by the commandment, [The 10 Commandments,] might become exceeding sinful.)

Yes, God is Holy, but we are unholy. (Isaiah 64:6: But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousness's [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.) Religious rituals have only encouraged the Jinn Master, along with our own warped conscience, because these ordinances don't actually change the inner man. (Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.) Only Jesus can make you holy. Only Jesus can make you a "New Creation." (2Cor 5:17: Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.) You can not make yourself holy by self righteous actions. (1Sam 15:22 To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.)

Often, hypocritical thinking attests to the real status of our heart, revealing we are not changed unless it is from the inside.
Gal 6:3: If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 1Cor 3:18: Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. Matt 15:18,19: But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.) Yet God is faithful. Remember, "God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:"

Apart from grace, the unmerited favor of God, we would all be hopelessly lost.
Rom 3:24 and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Rom 5:2 through Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One Man, Jesus Christ.
Eph 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-
1Pe 1:2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Has it ever bothered you that as soon as you stop praying you start lusting, actively sinning in your thought life? God sees everything, even the motives of your heart. (Hbr 4:13: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Gal 6:7: Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.)

There is a tremendous contrast between Jesus' character and the first Adam, yet Jesus is much more than a prophet. Even prophets can sin, but not Jesus. He is sinless. (1Jo 2:1: My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye SIN NOT. And IF any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:)
Hbr 2:14,18 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily He took not on [Him the nature of] angels; but He took on [Him] the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.

Numbers 23:19 "Let every man be a liar, but God remains true," is informing us that Jesus' immutable character is as dependable as His Word. Understand, if His character is good then His Word is good, & if His Word is good then we have confidence that He will not lie because He can not lie! (Hbr.6:13,20: For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, He obtained the promise. For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation [is] to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the Forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an High Priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.)

Luke 1:37: For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Hbr 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the CONFIDENCE and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hbr 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our CONFIDENCE steadfast unto the end;
Hbr 10:35 Cast not away therefore your CONFIDENCE, which hath great recompense of reward.
1Jo 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have CONFIDENCE, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we CONFIDENCE toward God.
1Jo 5:14 And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

The early disciples understood the power behind Numbers 23:19. (Mat 13:23: But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.)

Peter:
Act 5:15: Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
Stephen:
Act 6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people.
Phillip:
Act 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Barnabas and Paul:
Act 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness He did not abandon the Word of God, but cleaved to it. (Matthew 4:1: Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.) He quoted the Word of God to the Master Jinn. This enabled Jesus to be promoted to the next level of ministry. He spent the next 3 1/2 years ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit. He was continually in tune with His Heavenly Father, receiving daily instruction. (John 5:20: For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and he will show Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.)

When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, God had to revert to "Plan B," that's my phrase. Plan B meant that Jesus would have to take 1st Adam's place, but this time as a ransom for sin, because we were all under bondage to sin. In fact, sin kept us slaves to the Master Jinn, and he became our legal guardian, or father. (Jhn 8:44: Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.)

John 8:36: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Hbr 9:14,15: How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

Finally, I consider the following scripture a suitable companion to Numbers 23:19. Romans 8:32: He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us ALL things?

Have a nice day! Thank you for listening ;-)

Eph 3:8,11 Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

WHY FAITH? WHY A FAITH MOVEMENT?

Why Faith?
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Why a Faith Movement?
1. Faith For Salvation:

Romans 10:8,10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2. Faith For Evangelism:

Mark 16:15,18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

3. Faith For A Good Report:

Hebrews 11:1,2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hbr 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Hbr 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.

Hbr 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;

4. Faith For Overcoming The World:

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

5. Faith For A Good Fight:

1Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Eph 6:12,13 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

6. Faith For Understanding:

Col 2:2,3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Col 2:6,7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Hbr 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded.

7. Faith For Praying & Healing The Sick

Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.

Mar 11:23,24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].

Jhn 14:13,14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

CONCLUSION:
As long as there is faith there will always be a faith movement. Faith is a way of life, the way of the spirit-filled life in Christ.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Eph 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

As long as there is the unseen there is faith to believe in the unseen.

1Ti 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

As long as there is the Word of God there is faith to believe the Word of God.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away.

Hbr 6:17,18 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

As long as there are needs there is faith to meet those needs.

Psa 16:1;11 [[Michtam of David.]] Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

Phl 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

2Cr 9:8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work.

As long as there is a covenant there is faith to access that covenant.

Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Hbr 10:15, 17 [Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

As long as there are demons there is faith to undo their work.

Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

As long as there is love there is faith to work through love.

Rom 8:35,39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Eph 3:14,19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead

Jinn

There are many folklore, wives-tales surrounding the Jinn. Somehow, Muslims accept that there are good & bad Jinn. Supposedly, many of these Jinn will redeem themselves thru good works. Notice how superstition imitates truth like art imitates life. Could Esau's bitterness, & Yišmāʿêl's rejection be at the root of all this? What about Lot's extended family? Not that this gives us anything to boast about.

Isa 40:17 "All nations before Him [are] as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity." "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. " Phl 3:7.

Here is another major point of weakness in the Yišmāʿêl Chronicles. YouTube this video: "Disproving Islam with Fluid from between ribs and backbones - Sura 86:5-7"

GOD IS LOVE, PERIOD!

God IS LOVE,PERIOD!

Where in the "Q" does it say "God is love?" Answer: "NOWHERE!" This is the destiny of a multitude.
Love is our greatest advantage, the bridge between God & mankind.
First reference to the "LOVE OF GOD" in the Bible:
Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations."

1. 1John 4:8 "God is love!" Allah who?

2. Act 13:30 "God raised Him from the dead."

Line up all the imams. Wait till they die. Whoever rises from the dead wins. JESUS WINS!

3. John 12:37 "Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still WOULD NOT believe in Him."

Jhn 7:31 "When the Christ comes, will He do more miraculous signs than this Man?"

4. Col 2:13 "...the uncircumcision of your sinful nature"
If God wasn't a man you would be a slug; stop thinking like one!
------------------------

FAITH WORKS THROUGH LOVE:

Stop WISHING & start BELIEVING!

Galatians 5:6 "The only thing that counts is FAITH expressing itself through LOVE."

2Timothy 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth, & pursue righteousness, faith, love & peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Satan is an equal opportunity sinner worldwide, not just in America.

Genesis 12:3 "I will bless them that bless thee."
God will bless, protect & preserve America because we love Israel.

Even our money says "IN GOD WE TRUST"

Former Muslim Rashid reveals the truth about Islam !

Rashid: Spokesman For Truth

GOD IS LOVE!

Romans 5:5 Hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

James 2:8 If ye fulfil The Royal Law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

There are Cultural Christians & Born Again Christians. Born Again Christians live by "The Royal Law of Love." They're not extremists bent on destroying muslims. They imitate the love of God as followers of Jesus Christ, practicing the fruit of the spirit:

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
--------------------------------
Know God's love or know God's wrath!

If you understand God's wrath, then you will understand the Cross. Either you receive Jesus as Lord, God's mercy, or you receive Jesus as Judge, God's wrath.

Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

Psalm 30:5 For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.

GOOD VS EVIL

1Pe 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

3Jo 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

George Washington Carver; Agricultural Scientist

GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER:

Agricultural scientist. Born of slave parents:

He developed more than 300 products from the peanut (including Peanut Butter), 175 from the sweet potato, and 60 from the pecan. He also invented crop rotation. In 1927, he invented a process for producing paints and stains from soybeans.

Although he did hold 3 patents, Carver never patented most of the many discoveries he made while at Tuskegee, saying "God gave them to me, how can I sell them to someone else?"
---------------------------------
Imagine moving at the speed of thought, knowing the answer to every question instantly, never forgetting a name, & no miscommunication. How nice to eat or rest for pleasure ,& not necessity. This does not compare to the "70 jealous virgin" scenario of whoremonging imposters. Read Revelation again.

Believers have a grounded approach to their faith just like scientists. If what we say about God can not be backed by scriptural proof, then we are obliged to say "in my opinion."

Pachuco: Yes, and here's the critical difference: if a scientist's opinion is peer reviewed and found to be incorrect beyond a reasonable doubt, then he or she will concede that they are incorrect, or at least acknowledge other possibilities and take it back to research. A christian, on the other hand, will hold on to his opinion for dear life, like a security blanket, and consider no other opinion, evidence or no.
A scientist will concede and reconsider, a christian will only ever "agree to disagree."

Now, now! Pachuco,

If my name ended with a "v" you would say, "what a genius." Instead, you are displaying the very logic that has hung around since the beginning of time, excuse me, the beginning of evolution. You slight the conversation to make yourself sound enlightened. Ego, ego, ego!

If I was going the wrong way I hope my friends would say so. Would I listen? Would you? Are you my friend? Have I ever met you? So, why lump me into your cloistered mind to suit your conscience then?

If you're truly scientific, get out of the grandstands & onto the field.

Suggestion Pachuco,

Relieve someone of their suffering. First, you need an idea. May I humbly suggest you peruse the Bible, if only to find a pathway for your imagination to pursue.

Unless you imagine it, you can never discover it. Try reading the Book of Revelation for ideas. Meanwhile, I'll see you in "the unseen," where the last frontier of discovery awaits, unless you don't BELIEVE it's there.
