The Headship Principle
An Editorial by Johndeweb:
Is The Tradition Of Head Coverings Conformity To Cultural Mores Or Conformity To Divine Principle?
If conformity to the tradition of head coverings is culturally motivated the expression of this practice will logically change with time & society, but if this tradition is solely the result of a divinely inspired headship principle, it cannot be ignored or invalidated.
There is a natural headship according to 1Cor3:3, “the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.” It is noteworthy that Christ must be divine; otherwise this “natural order” is nullified. So when a Muslim, or anyone else, isolates a Bible passage, just to validate a premise, the context is usually adulterated or annihilated.
One proof of this natural law of headship is a woman’s long hair. 1 Cor11:15b (NIV) “For long hair is given to her as a covering.” Nature suggests that there are clear lines of authority between the sexes that have been drawn in the sands of time. In Christ, we actually submit to each other,” Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility,” (1Pet5:5), a context in which there is “neither male nor female, for you are all one in Christ.”(Gal3:28), but that is another topic.
Even cultural input cannot negate divine order, though indubitably it tampers with it. Humility is the actual “covering” that God expects from everyone who names Christ, more than a cloak or hijab. When God formed Eve from Adam’s rib He didn’t place animal skin over her tresses, but He covered her body. Gen3:21(ASV), ”And Jehovah God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them.”
This is the “gold standard” of proper headship as expressed by Paul in his letter to Titus: Titus 2:4-5 “…Train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.”
In my opinion, the hijab is no different than any other adornment, but it is a matter of preference; however, when that adornment becomes the focal point of non verbal confrontation, political advocacy & religious braggadocio, it no longer serves the humble purpose for which it was intended. For example, I’d rather see Muslims scrap the hijab & keep the peace, then scrap the peace & keep the hijab.
Finally, I submit this admonishment from the pen of Peter, 1 Pet3:1-6 (CEV) “If you are a wife, you must put your husband first. Even if he opposes our message, you will win him over by what you do. No one else will have to say anything to him, 2because he will see how you honor God and live a pure life. 3Don't depend on things like fancy hairdos or gold jewelry or expensive clothes to make you look beautiful. 4Be beautiful in your heart by being gentle and quiet. This kind of beauty will last, and God considers it very special.
5Long ago those women who worshiped God and put their hope in him made themselves beautiful by putting their husbands first. 6For example, Sarah obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her true children, if you do right and don't let anything frighten you.
Other Points of View Around The Net:
1 “In reference to head coverings, there is a distinction between the unchanging fact of male headship, and the relative cultural expressions of it. I.e., in different cultures male headship is symbolized by different practices. In the U.S. today head coverings mean nothing one way or the other. The one practice that has over the years symbolized male headship seems to be the woman’s taking on her husband’s last name after marriage. The fact that many married women today are keeping their own last name or are forming hyphenated last names may be indicative of a growing rejection of this Biblical principle. “
(Jack Cottrell: Head Coverings in 1 Corinthians 11)
2 “Whether women today in church services should wear hats depends on whether the custom of head coverings in the first century is to be understood as a practice also intended for the present day. Many Bible students see that for today the principle of subordination (not the command to wear hats) is the key point in this passage. The intent of the custom of women wearing hats today, for fashion, seems far different from the purpose of the custom in the first century. “

3 “The United States Declaration of Independence subverted the dominant social doctrine of the time, the Divine Right of Kings, by saying ‘All men are created equal’"

1 Corinthians 11:3-7 (King James Version)
3But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
4Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.
5But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
1 Corinthians 11:3-7 (New International Version)
3Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7A man ought not to cover his head,[a] since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man.
Footnotes:
a. 1 Corinthians 11:7 Or 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with long hair dishonors his head. 5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with no covering (of hair) on her head dishonors her head—she is just like one of the "shorn women." 6 If a woman has no covering, let her be for now with short hair, but since it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair shorn or shaved, she should grow it again. 7 A man ought not to have long hair
1 Corinthians 11:3-7 (The Message)
3-9In a marriage relationship, there is authority from Christ to husband, and from husband to wife. The authority of Christ is the authority of God. Any man who speaks with God or about God in a way that shows a lack of respect for the authority of Christ, dishonors Christ. In the same way, a wife who speaks with God in a way that shows a lack of respect for the authority of her husband dishonors her husband. Worse, she dishonors herself—an ugly sight, like a woman with her head shaved. This is basically the origin of these customs we have of women wearing head coverings in worship, while men take their hats off. By these symbolic acts, men and women, who far too often butt heads with each other, submit their "heads" to the Head: God.
1 Corinthians 11:3-7 (Contemporary English Version)
3Now I want you to know that Christ is the head over all men, and a man is the head over a woman. But God is the head over Christ. 4This means that any man who prays or prophesies with something on his head brings shame to his head.
5But any woman who prays or prophesies without something on her head brings shame to her head. In fact, she may as well shave her head. [a] 6A woman should wear something on her head. It is a disgrace for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair. But if she refuses to wear something on her head, let her cut off her hair. 7Men were created to be like God and to bring honor to God. This means that a man should not wear anything on his head. Women were created to bring honor to men.
Footnotes:
a. 1 Corinthians 11:5 she may as well shave her head: A woman's hair was a mark of beauty, and it was shameful for a woman to cut her hair short or to shave her head, so that she looked like a man.

Children of Hamas
Hamas & Israel:
The Nation of Israel is the touchstone of any debate involving Islam, & it is always appropriate to mention Israel in this context. How you treat the "Apple of God's Eye" speaks volumes about your religion & your agenda. He is a thief who thinks he can replace the core of God's affection with a foreign religion or nation.
Look, there is only room for one truth, & the greatest of all deceivers,Sura 3:54, is blocking you from seeing the truth. Allah calls himself the greatest of all deceiver,( dcb = deep cleansing breath). Our God never calls Himself a deceiver, although He permits deception to overtake its yielded recipients. The God of both the Jews & the Gentiles desires to be reconciled with His enemies, & not destroy His enemies.
Isa 57:3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
:4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, [and] draw out the tongue? [are] ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
* Only a fool would agitate the "Apple of His Eye," but that is exactly what Hamas is doing, although they are only following the dictates of Jihad, Muhammed & the Quran. Last year over 3000 mortar shells crossed over the Israeli border; meanwhile, your Muslim compatriots are poised like vultures over their Jewish prey. Please, wake up! The only thing worse than a fool is an educated fool.
Zec 2:1 Then I looked up--and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand!
:2 I asked, "Where are you going?" He answered me, "To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is."
:3 Then the angel who was speaking to me left, and another angel came to meet him
:4 and said to him: "Run, tell that young man, 'Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it. :5 And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the Lord, 'and I will be its glory within.'
:6 "Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north," declares the Lord, "for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven," declares the Lord.
:7 "Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!"
* :8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says: "After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you--for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye--
* :9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me.
:10 "Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the Lord.
:11 "Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.
Conclusion:
2Ti 1:8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,
:9 Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began,
:10 but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, [who] has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
:11 to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
:12 For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.
:13 Hold fast the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.
:14 That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
AND:
2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things.
:8 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel,
:9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, [even] to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained.
:10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
:11 [This is] a faithful saying: For if we died with [Him], We shall also live with [Him].
:12 If we endure, We shall also reign with [Him]. If we deny [Him], He also will deny us.
:13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
:14 Remind [them] of these things, charging [them] before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers.
:15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
:16 But shun profane [and] idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness.
:17 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,
:18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.
Another time,
Sincerely,
Johndeweb

Faithfulness
A Poem by Johndeweb
Open windows, open doors,
Marriage is a picture for
The favor God endows on man
Causing mercy to remand
Who healed the sick and offered hope
For those whose pain was hard to cope;
Who stood by us when we were dross
And shared His love at any cost?
Like a marriage between two souls
In Christ two halves become a whole;
One life, one wife, one Lord, and more:
Heaven is worth waiting for.

UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST (JOHN 17)
UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRISTSome of the most pertinent exhortations in the New Testament originate in the Epistles of Paul. Still, observe what Peter wrote under inspiration of the Holy Spirit...
2Pe 3:16 As also in all [his] epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are SOME THINGS HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as [they do] also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Furthermore:
Hbr 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which [be] the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
:13 For every one that useth milk [is] unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
COMMENT: Who's to say that you are not the spiritual "babe?" After all, when you describe yourself as "apoplectic," it does not conjure ones confidence in your stability or objectivity.
ILLUSTRATION: I am a consistent listener of National Public Radio, (NPR), & enjoy most of the content, yet I am a "right-wing" Christian; however, I rarely listen to Rush Limbaugh because I find him offensive. Most likely Rush is a nice "off-the-air" fellow, but his radio personality attracts listeners.
Rick Joyner has been my pastor since '99. He is a solid leader, a good husband, & the father of five wonderful children. Largely, he is a topical preacher with a pastoral staff that deliver balanced, exegetical sermons.
Christians looking for the perfect teacher/preacher are invariably doomed for disappointment. No one on earth has a complete revelation of God but God Himself.
Jhn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Besides, too often we depend on the pastor for our spiritual sustenance. In my opinion, this is because converts are taught, but disciples are trained. Consequently, we have churches filled with converts, not disciples. Only disciples can disciple; only disciples can replicate.
Figuratively speaking, we haven't been trained to "dig our own wells," or study the Word of God; therefore, the church in the USA is spoiled. We expect the pastor to do our Bible reading & study, not to mention prayer. The Body of Christ needs a paradigm shift.
You don't have to insinuate that Rick Joyner is a false prophet. At least his books inspire others, like yourself, to examine the Word of God. I have never heard Rick say his books were canon, but personally, I find them inspirational.
I know how to "chew on the hay & spit out the sticks."
Finally:
1Cr 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
1Cr 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am.
COMMENT: Perhaps every sermon, revelation, & insight should be prefaced by these truisms.
Eph 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
AGAIN:
1Pe 1:17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear:
CONCLUSION:
We need less criticism & more wisdom...
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
1Cr 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
Jam 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, devilish.
:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, [and] easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
AGAIN:
Psa 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden [part] thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
COMMENT: God judges the heart, so be careful what you perceive about a man. Yes, you have the right to judge prophesy, but divisiveness cloaks itself in knowledge, & as the scripture exhorts:
Rom 14:4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
Sincerely,
Johndeweb
PS Help me stand against the Wahabists, who call themselves true Muslims. That is where the real end-time struggle exists. Let's stop fighting each other. The time is short, & we need a united front.
Jhn 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, [art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

"ONED" WITH GOD
Eph 2:21 In Him the whole building is joined together & rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.
1Cor 6:17 They that are joined to the Lord are one Spirit.
Comment: God is One , & those who are joined to the Lord are "one" with Him . To explain this phenomenon here is an original word:
"Oned" [verb]: to become one with another; describing the mysterious union of God and man; to be transformed; 2 Cor 5:17 "A New Creation" in Christ. [noun] one with God; in marriage: "one flesh;" the "Born Again" reality of John 3:7.
WORD PLAY: Seasoned ["Seas" + "oned"] Just as the sea becomes one with the ocean, figuratively speaking, we are like the "sea," flowing into God's "Ocean," through Christ.
Note: to say you are one with God is NOT to say you ARE God. Muslims have no equivalent.

Trinity of Cloud Formation

The Trinity of Cloud Formation:
1 Warm Air
2 Dust
3 Water Vapor
All air contains water, but near the ground it is usually in the form of an invisible gas called water vapor. When warm air rises, it expands and cools. Cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air, so some of the vapor condenses onto tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air and forms a tiny droplet around each dust particle. When billions of these droplets come together they become a visible cloud.

Practical Prosperity & Christianity
.jpg)
WE ARE SAVED FOR GOOD WORKS, NOT BY GOOD WORKS!
Anyway, what constitutes good? Talk to Muslims & you will get a different perspective on good works. For example, they believe in "good" polygamy.
Faith is the qualifier & works is the quantifier. Indeed, Christ alone determines our eternal destiny based on faith, but works determine the quality of that destiny. Of course, the highest reward is Jesus Himself. The penitent thief, who was crucified beside Jesus, had no works, but he had saving faith. His reward was the promise of his sins forgiven, & eternal life with Jesus Christ. Nothing compares to that prosperity, yet Jesus spoke of heavenly rewards based on our good works.
Mat 19:28,30 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. But many [that are] first shall be last; and the last [shall be] first.
What is practical prosperity? For a person who needs transportation practical prosperity could mean owning a reliable used car. For an unemployed person it could mean getting a full time job. John 15:7 says, "If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you."
WHEN GOOD IS THE ENEMY OF THE BEST
God is concerned about our needs & desires, but if we become preoccupied with them prosperity can become a snare. That's when good is the enemy of the best. Our goal is to be imitators of Jesus.
Jesus had material wealth, but material wealth didn't have Him.He had disciples to care for, the poor to provide for, & other ministry needs that had to be met. Remember, Judas was His treasurer. I am sure there was abounding & abasing in Jesus' ministry, but God met every need above & beyond. A wedding feast had plenty of wine through a miracle, multitudes were fed by supernatural increase, a temple tax was paid from a fishes mouth, and a woman with no more money to pay the doctors was instantly healed.
JESUS HAD THE BEST RESULTS BECAUSE HE HAD THE BEST INTENTIONS.1Cr 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Speaking to his son Solomon, David talks about wisdom, "Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor." (Pro 3:16)
LOOK IN HIS EYES NOT AT THE PRIZE!The idea is to seek God's face not His provision. Look in His eyes not at the prize. Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Follow the advice of Proverbs 3 and you will qualify for biblical prosperity:
Pro 3:1,35 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
By wisdom the Lord laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the deeps were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.
My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"-- when you now have it with you.
Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.
Do not accuse a man for no reason-- when he has done you no harm.
Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, for the Lord detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.
The Lord's curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.
The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame.
Conclusion:
Prosperity is not a dirty word, it's the lust, the greed & the pride of this world that snares people, even Christians if they are ignorant.
2Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Is Jesus God?

RE: Is Jesus God?
Is water wet? Only if you touch or taste it.
Can you see air? No, yet you know it's there, because you always breath it & feel its affect.
Where did the wind come from & where does it go? It comes from above & goes where it will.
Can you hold the wind? In your hands, no, in your chest, yes!
If you stopped breathing would air stop being? No, your breath does not determine its reality.
How do clouds form? Clouds are formed from warm air, wind & moisture. The three are one. Repeat: the 3 are 1!
Believe in Jesus, your Savior & Lord!
Conclusion:
The prince is a servant until he becomes an heir. Death ushers in his reign. Jesus died to make you an heir.
Rom 4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, [was] not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
Gal 4:1 Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Gal 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Worship In Spirit & In Truth
.jpg)
Many traditional hymns are filled with unbelief, and they will never be sung in Heaven. A simple song of praise should'nt need to be dissected. Does a husband question the compliments & praises of hs wife?
Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from His power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
John 4:23-24 But the hour comes, & now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father IN SPIRIT & IN TRUTH: for the Father seeks such to worship Him.
God [is] a Spirit: & they that worship Him must worship [Him] IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.

Unity or Diaspora: Where Is The Peace of Islam? Somalia, Sharia, Al-Shabaab
Islamist militiamen have chopped off the right hand and left foot of four teenagers accused of robbery in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
The "cross-amputation" was ordered by a court set up by the radical al-Shabaab group, which is accused of links to al-Qaida and is trying to overthrow Somalia's weak transitional government.
"We have carried out this sentence under the Islamic religion and we will punish like this everyone who carries out these acts," said Sheikh Ali Mohamud Fidow, an al-Shabaab official. The extreme punishment will be viewed with alarm and disgust by most people in Somalia a traditionally moderate Muslim country where many men chew the narcotic leaf qat and women usually cover their heads but not their faces.
Lacking clear political goals, the insurgents are trying to forcibly install stricter Wahhabi Islam, which has roots in Saudi Arabia. Al-Shabaab courts have previously ordered single-limb amputations and executions in the southern city of Kismayo, but today's punishment in Mogadishu highlights the group's recent territorial gains.
The four male victims were found guilty of stealing mobile phones and other goods earlier this week. Several hundred people in the capital's Sukahola neighbourhood, which is controlled by the militia group, gathered to watch the amputations.
Witnesses reported that two hooded men applied tourniquets to the accused teenagers' arms and legs before using curved-blade knives to sever their hands and feet. The screaming victims were then taken away by ambulance.
Al-Shabaab and other hard line Islamist groups have stepped up their attacks against the government in Mogadishu in recent weeks, causing at least 159,000 people to flee since 7 May, according to the UN. Hundreds of people have been killed.
Last week the insurgents assassinated the city's police chief, while an al-Shabaab suicide bomber killed the Somali security minister and at least 20 other people in the town of Beledweyne, north of the capital.

Conclusion:
Islam is not a political movement!
The early leaders of the Muslim nation following Muhammad's (570632) death were called "Khalifat Rasul Allah", means the political successors to the messenger of God (referring to Muhammad).
Correction:
Islam is not a religious movement!

Islamic Sects & The "One Nation" Fallacy
.jpg)
The Muslim who claims they are "one nation" have only their sect in mind...
------------------------------------
A Guide To Islamic Sects
http://www.rickross.com/reference/islamic/islamic27.html
The world's second-largest faith, Islam is hardly monolithic. Schisms, focusing first on disagreements over who should lead the new faith and later on matters of doctrine, began developing soon after the prophet Muhammad's death in the year 632.
Here are some of the major sects within Islam, which has 1.3 billion followers:
Sunni:
Accounting for at least 85 percent of the Islamic world, the Sunni claim to be the direct continuation of the faith as defined by Muhammad. For many years they acknowledged the religious authority of a ruling caliph, the major point of contention with the breakaway Shiite movement. The Sunni derive their name through reliance on the "Sunnah" or the observed sayings, lifestyle and practices of Muhammad as recorded in a collection of writings called the Hadith. The Sunni accept the "Sunnah" as a source of spiritual wisdom, while the Shiite insist on the primacy of the Koran.
Shiite:
The smaller of the two principal branches of Islam, the Shiite account for at least 10 percent of all Muslims. They originally were followers of the fourth caliph, Ali, who was Muhammad's son-in-law through the prophet's daughter Fatima. Ali claimed that Muhammad on his deathbed selected Ali as leader of the faith, but Ali was murdered during the fifth year of his reign. The Shiite formally broke away from Muslim leaders recognized by the Sunni around 680. A principal belief of the Shiite is that no caliph since Ali has been legitimate. The movement became popular among disaffected non-Arab Muslims who feared they were held in lower esteem within the faith.
Kharijis:
Accounting for less than 1 percent of all Muslims, the Kharijis were the first major schism within Islam. They broke away in 658 when they rejected the use of arbitrators empowered to decide major issues within the faith.
Druze:
A secretive Islamic breakaway group concentrated in Lebanon around Mt. Hermon and in the mountains near Beirut and Sidon. They refer to themselves as the Mowahhidoon. Most Muslims consider the sect blasphemous since it declared that God was manifested in human form as the Egyptian caliph al Hakim Bi-amr Allah 1,000 years ago. They number at least 250,000. The Druze do not accept new members, virtually never discuss their faith and often pose as members of the dominant religion where they live.
Alawi:
A small branch of Islam that broke away from the Shiite in the Ninth Century under the leadership of Ibn Nucair Namin Abdi. Almost exclusively found on the Syrian coast plains, the Alawi have 1.5 million members including Syrian President Hafez Assad.
Ismali:
A Shiite sect that believes the succession of spiritual leadership should have continued through the sons of Muhammad Ibn Isma'il. The Ismali believe that Islam has never been without a living Imam, even though clearly recognized spiritual authority became increasingly rare as Islam matured.
Ahmadiyyah:
Founded in Qadian, India, by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, who died in 1908. Ahmadis believe their founder was a renovator of Islam, a position most of the world's Muslims consider to be heretical. The group has many enthusiastic missionaries.
Sufi:
These are the mystics within the Muslim faith, a religious order that follows mystical interpretations of Islamic doctrines and practices.
Wahhabi Movement:
Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab began a campaign of spiritual renewal in the smaller city states of Arabia in the mid- 1700s. His extremely traditional group opposed all innovations within Islam, often using violence to enforce its views. The group threatened to become the first nation state in Arabia, prompting a crackdown by the Egyptian army in 1818. Today, Wahhabism is quite strong in Saudi Arabia. It demands punishment for those who enjoy any form of music except the drum and severe punishment up to death for drinking or sexual transgressions. It condemns as unbelievers those who do not pray, a view that never previously existed in mainstream Islam. Wahhabism has been an inspiration to Osama bin Laden.
Conclusion:
- For the Christians, it is a heresy to rob Christ of his incarnate deity, and to reject his atonement on the Cross.
- For the Muslims, it is a heresy to have another prophet after Muhammad...
I am a Christian. Simple! No confusion!
Salvation is through Jesus Christ only!
Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book

Adam, Where Are You?
.jpg)
Where Are You? Where Are You?
The age old question: "Adam, where are you?
Every human being will have to answer this question before God. There will be no props, no people, & no politics to support the answer. Either Jesus will say, " I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity." (Mat 7:23.) or He will say,
Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord. (Matt 25:23)
Every law is meant to be taken literally. Hence, Sharia is so fearful, & even the 10 Commandments came to us in a fearful fashion, handed down from a fiery mountain top, amidst dark clouds & thundering lightening peels. This signifies that God is holy & to be feared.
Mount Sinai represents the heart of Judaism, & Islam. It is the seat of all righteous Law, through conformity to God's holiness & righteousness. Religion based on conformity does not require love, but it demands obedience. Jesus' earthly ministry satisfied this requirement.
Hbr 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;
*Even today, this mountain of The Law symbolizes the division & separation of mankind; it divides by two brothers, two cultures, two factions, two religions...
*The Law exposes our divisions, our sin.
*The Law can not save us, or reconcile us.
*The Law only punishes lawbreakers, & we are all lawbreakers.
*The Law does not reward obedience.
*The Law only punishes disobedience.
*The Law executes only judgement & death.
*The Law declares all men unworthy, guilty.
Therefore these facts remain:
*The Law can not remove sin; therefore, we are still sinful, even after we obey the Law.
*The Law can only reveal sin; therefore, we are still guilty, even after we fulfill the Law.
*The Law distinguishes us from God, He is holy, we are not; therefore, we are still separated from God , even after we follow His ordinances.
*The Law can not change our nature; therefore, we are still hiding from God, even after we learn His ways.
...so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. (Hbr 9:13,15)
*Yet there is hope for mankind: Jesus Christ, The Savior of the world...
Rom 5:8,12 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
...much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. (Rom 5:17)
------------------------------------
*So the question of the ages is, "Adam,' man,' where are you...?"
*Where are you in relation to God?
*He knows where you are, but sin has hid you from Him.
*Jesus is your "GPS" back to God.
*Only Jesus can remove the sin that separates you from God.
*Jesus destroyed the dividing partition, sin, that divides mankind from each other & God.
*Sin has divided nations, & separated relations, but God had a plan to restore that broken fellowship from the beginning.
*War, jihad, can not restore the unity that was lost by the first Adam.
*It took a greater Adam, Jesus, to lead us back to God without fear of judgement.
*Of course, Jesus feared God, but He was not afraid of God, & He is our example.
Hbr 10:22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
*Jesus made the way for us to be reconciled to God, through the Cross.
1Cr 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Hbr 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
*Therefore we boldly declare, "Jesus is the way, the truth & the life," "...no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (Jhn 14:6)
*...And the question remains for you, "Where are you?" Are you still trusting in the Law? The Law can not save you, it can only condemn you, because it reveals the hidden nature of every man. It must be taken literally.
Rom 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
*However, the punishment we deserve fell upon Jesus.
*These are Biblical idioms: He is our Sin Substitute, our Scapegoat, our Sacrifice Lamb.
*Jesus alone is worthy to forgive us our sin...
Mar 2:1, 10 And again he entered into Capernaum after [some] days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive [them], no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, Why doth this [man] thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts? Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, [Thy] sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
*Of course, Jesus had anger, but anger did not have Jesus. He used this emotion, to communicate God's disdain for sin & hypocrisy. "Be ye angry, and sin not." (Eph 4:26)
Jhn 2:14, 15 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting: And when He had made a scourge of small cords, He drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
*Jesus' passion for His Father seemed like indifference toward man, even for His mother. This is not the case.
Jhn 19:25,28 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the [wife] of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own [home].
Jhn 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto Him, They have no wine. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come.
Even the Jinn recognized Jesus' authority:
Mar 1:24 Saying, Let [us] alone; what have we to do with Thee, Thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art Thou come to destroy us? I know thee who Thou art, the Holy One of God.
Everyone, who is honest in his appraisal, knows that the heart of Jesus is love. These are His words:
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
CONCLUSION:
Jhn 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
1Th 2:8 We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.
1Jo 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
*Whenever you need us, we will do our best to be there, & answer your questions, but if we fail, or if we are unfaithful, let it be known that God can not fail, because He is love, & He is faithful.
Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Rom 8:39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
*Let God be true, and every man a liar...
Romans 3:1, 31
What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision?
Much in every way! First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God.
What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness?
Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: "So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." [fn]
But if our unrighteousness brings out God's righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.)
Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world?
Someone might argue, "If my falsehood enhances God's truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?"
Why not say-as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say-"Let us do evil that good may result"? Their condemnation is deserved.
What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin.
As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.
All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one." "Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit." "The poison of vipers is on their lips."
"Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness."
"Their feet are swift to shed blood;
ruin and misery mark their ways,
and the way of peace they do not know."
"There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, [fn] through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith.
For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law.
Is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,
since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law.
Thank you,
Johndeweb

Sharia Law
.jpg)
RE: "in Islam the prayer of the oppressed, be it that they are Muslim or not, goes directly to God."
*As you treat the Jews so you will be treated. Evil is not good, no matter how self righteous it looks or sounds. Bless the Jews & you will be blessed. They don't need your Sharia, nor do I, the 10 Commandments will do just fine, thank you.
Num 22:12 But God said to Balaam, "Do not go with them. You must not put a curse on those people, because they are blessed."
Num 23:8 How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?
*Also, you just condemned your spiritual leader, Mohammed, on the grounds of adultery, because "black is black & white is white" according to Sharia
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Act 10:34 Then Peter opened [his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
-------------------------------------
Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Jesus came to set the captive free, not condemn them.
Jam 2:13 because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!
Jhn 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
-----------------------------------
*Sharia is not a substitute for the Law, & definitely not a compliment to the Grace of God either.
*Fear God not man, but Sharia makes you fear man not God. Sharia may give you the results you want but not the results God wants. God could have destroyed mankind if he wanted, & that is exactly what Sharia gives man the license to do. Why...
Rom 4:5 However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.
Luk 6:35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
*Sharia can't touch this because the motivation is born of the heart, not the letter.
*Faith in Jesus changes everything, even the desire for sin. You can change your habits thru fear but only God can change your desire thru love, grace, faith, by the power of the blood of Jesus.
Pro 19:2 It is not good to have zeal without knowledge
CONCLUSION:
*Only One was born of a virgin, Eve's son, Jesus the Messiah, "Eve's seed..."
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and HER SEED; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
COMMENT: Woman don't have seed, right?! It's God's Seed, it's God's Son, it's YOUR PROBLEM!
