IS JESUS GOD?

Re: FINAL CONCLUSION OF THE DEBATE: IS JESUS GOD?

N.aliakbar & A.D. "got" to the diner table late, but now dessert is over. I hope they understand! Just like the call of the Adhan, (announcement) for salat (prayer), time waits for no man...although we Christians pray always, & it is the only way to keep your thoughts pure...

Luk 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint;
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray ALWAYS, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
2Th 1:11 Wherefore also we pray ALWAYS for you, that our God would count you worthy of [this] calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and the work of faith with power:
Act 6:4 But we will give ourselves CONTINUALLY to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
Act 12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made WITHOUT CEASING of the church unto God for him.
Eph 6:18 Praying ALWAYS with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Phl 1:4 ALWAYS in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
1Pe 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and WATCH unto prayer.
Mat 24:42 "Therefore KEEP WATCH, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Mat 26:41 "WATCH & PRAY so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."
Luk 12:38 It will be GOOD for those servants whose master finds them READY, even if he comes in the SECOND OR THIERD WATCH of the night.
Luk 21:36 Be ALWAYS on the WATCH, AND PRAY that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

Besides, Positron's conclusions cover all outstanding inquiries. Now you have the Christian point of view, and not from an IMAM. We all have much to mull over, even the CHRISTIANS. A.D. & N.aliakbar, unfortunately, you will have to scrub thru the notes for what you missed. If you don't have them request it from your friend Dazed & Confused. After all, we are not required to be redundant, & anyway, that would be a sign of weakness. I reiterate, please avail yourselves of POSITRON'S SPLENDID VIDEOS, unmalicious & informative, or google the web for the information you seek. I encourage you to do so, and God (AMDG) promises...

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Thanks to Gokilex for inviting us to this debate. Thanks also for the new Christian friends, your comments & prayers. Let's stay in touch. I feel at peace!

These are my finally thoughts, not a rebuttal, but an invitation. I would be remiss not to extend this offer. By the way, I took the liberty to insert "Born Again Christian," of which I am, in the following statement by one of your peers. In doing so I wanted to clarify our point of view, not from a Western, European, Anglo Saxon perspective, but yours:

"Born Again Christians and Kafir are both human beings; both are slaves of God. But one human being becomes superior for the reason that he recognizes his Master, obeys His orders and fears the consequences of disobeying Him, while the other human being falls from the high rank because he does not recognize his Master and does not carry out His orders. This is why God is pleased with Born Again Christians and displeased with unbelievers. He promises reward of Heaven to Born Again Christians and warns unbelievers that they will be consigned to Hell."

Here ye, here ye, this final ADHAN:

All Muslims, & other inquisitive minds, may the Lord have mercy on your souls, please follow these instructions:

The Roman Road to Salvation, (CONTENDERMINISTRIES.ORG)

The ROMANS ROAD....is a pathway you can walk.

It is a group of Bible verses from the book of Romans in the New Testament. If you walk down this road you will end up understanding how to be saved.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with sin.

We were born under the power of sin's control.

- Admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..."

Sin has an ending. It results in death. We all face physical death, which is a result of sin. But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from God, and will last for all eternity. The Bible teaches that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever. It is the place where people who are spiritually dead will remain.

- Understand that you deserve death for your sin.

Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal

life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Salvation is a free gift from God to you! You can't

earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.

- Ask God to forgive you and save you.

Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love for us, in

that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"

When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life. He did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!

- Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you -- not religion, or church membership. God loves you!

Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"

- Call out to God in the name of Jesus!

Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."

- If you know that God is knocking on your heart's door,

ask Him to come into your heart.

Jesus said,

Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."

- Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?

Believe in Him.

Ask Him to come in to your heart by faith,

and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

Open the Bible to the Gospel of John and read what God says about Jesus,

about you, and about being born again.

God will help you. He loves you.

You need to look for a local church where

God's word is preached. The Bible says that we are to desire

God's word like a newborn baby desires mother's milk.

Aren't you hungry to know the truth?

Water baptism is one of the ways you first show that

you have been joined to Jesus. This is an action, and actions will not save you. However, it is an act of obedience and a symbol of commitment.

The symbolism is this:

When you go down in the water you show that

You have been crucified and buried with Him,

And when you come up out of the water you show that

you have been raised to walk with Him in newness of life.

(See Romans chapter 6)

You have been born again.

(See John chapter 3)

Your body has become God's temple.

Your heart is where He lives.

Forgiveness is yours in Jesus.

And you belong to Him.

You were sin's slave.

But now...

You are a child of GOD!

John 1:12

"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name!"

Isa 49:8 This is what the Lord says: "In the time of my favor I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you; I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances,

2Cr 6:2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.

The Mystery Maker

We don't even understand the Mystery Maker; however...

1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

1Cr 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

1Cr 2:10,16 But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

"Is Jesus God," & Numbers 23:19

RE: Numbers 23:19 & "Is Jesus God?"

Hello everyone,

Yes, Jesus is my Lord, my Savior, & my God. (Jhn 7:31: And many of the people believed on Him, and said, When Christ cometh, will He do more miracles than these which this [man] hath done?)

Thank you for providing a discussion on one of my favorite Bible verses, Numbers 23:19. I have quoted this scripture very often in my prayers, before my Heavenly Father, & also as a testimony of faith before the cowardly Jinn, since the time I attended Bible School in my youth.

Numb 23:19 states, God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath He said, and shall He not do [it]? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

Well, here is the meaning, as it pertains to Jesus, & as it applies to mankind. First of all, Jesus had to do what the first Adam failed to do, that is, obey God. (Romans 5:19: For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous. Hebrews 5:8: Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered.) Second, Jesus had to become a substitute, a willing sacrifice, in order to qualify as our Redeemer. His blood had to be shed on Calvary as The Spotless Lamb of God, our Passover Lamb. (1Cor 5:7b: Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.)

Just so that we understand, Adam sinned when he allowed his wife, Eve, to be beguiled by the serpent; meanwhile, his own participation was akin to spiritual high treason, a cataclysmic indictment against mankind. (Gen 3:1 & 5: Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? But of the fruit of the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, LEST YE DIE. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that IN THE DAY ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.)

Adam's sin was so grievous that he actually died spiritually on the very day he sinned. This means he was separated spiritually from God because of "the dividing wall" of sin. (Gen 2:17: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for IN THAT DAY that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen 5:5: And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. Eph 2:14: For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition [between us]) Separation from God is the ultimate punishment.

Adam was commanded to "KEEP" the garden, but he lacked the character & fortitude to follow God's simple command. (Gen 2:15: And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to KEEP IT.) Due to his disobedience, Adam had to relinquish his authority over planet earth, to the Master Jinn. This created the scenario we experience today, a world dominated by greed, pride, violence & lust. Consequently, confusion & ignorance, prompted by spiritual darkness, has interfered with the knowledge & understanding of the Godhead. (Act 17:2: Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
Rom 1:20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:)

In addition, spiritual communication has been impeded through Adam's sin; however, Jesus' obedience at Calvary has revitalized our heavenly channels. (John 4:23: But the HOUR cometh, and NOW is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.)

Third, Jesus made salvation possible, although it cost Him "The Ultimate Price," His Life. He could have backed down, but like Numbers 23:19b says, "hath He said, and shall He not do [it]? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?" (Jhn 18:36: Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. Isaiah 53:12: Therefore I will give Him a portion among the great, and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. )

Jesus is referred to as the last Adam. (1Cor 15:45: So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being;" the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.) Jesus "stood in the gap," for humanity, literally between Heaven & Hell. (Hbr 2:9b: by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.) So, the Cross is our "ticket to Heaven."

Eph 2:15,16 by abolishing in his flesh the Law with its commandments and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and in this One body to reconcile both of them to God through the Cross, by which he put to death their hostility.
Phl 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death- even death on a Cross!
Phl 3:18 For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the Cross of Christ.
Col 1:20 and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.
Col 2:14 having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He TOOK IT AWAY, nailing it to the Cross.
Col 2:15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the Cross.
Hbr 12:2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Act 2:21: And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the Name of the Lord, [Jesus,] shall be saved.

Men have tried to win back God's favor ever since "The Fall." "Work, obey, work, obey, work, obey" defines this worldly mindset, but God is through with this sensual reasoning. The Law was handed down, through Moses, to draw attention to the futility of our own self righteous efforts, the deadness of our deeds, to please God. (Romans 7:14: But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good [The Law;] that sin by the commandment, [The 10 Commandments,] might become exceeding sinful.)

Yes, God is Holy, but we are unholy. (Isaiah 64:6: But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousness's [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.) Religious rituals have only encouraged the Jinn Master, along with our own warped conscience, because these ordinances don't actually change the inner man. (Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, [as] the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.) Only Jesus can make you holy. Only Jesus can make you a "New Creation." (2Cor 5:17: Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.) You can not make yourself holy by self righteous actions. (1Sam 15:22 To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.)

Often, hypocritical thinking attests to the real status of our heart, revealing we are not changed unless it is from the inside.
Gal 6:3: If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 1Cor 3:18: Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a "fool" so that he may become wise. Matt 15:18,19: But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.) Yet God is faithful. Remember, "God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent:"

Apart from grace, the unmerited favor of God, we would all be hopelessly lost.
Rom 3:24 and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Rom 5:2 through Whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One Man, Jesus Christ.
Eph 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-
1Pe 1:2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by His blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Has it ever bothered you that as soon as you stop praying you start lusting, actively sinning in your thought life? God sees everything, even the motives of your heart. (Hbr 4:13: Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. Gal 6:7: Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.)

There is a tremendous contrast between Jesus' character and the first Adam, yet Jesus is much more than a prophet. Even prophets can sin, but not Jesus. He is sinless. (1Jo 2:1: My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye SIN NOT. And IF any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:)
Hbr 2:14,18 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. For verily He took not on [Him the nature of] angels; but He took on [Him] the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto [his] brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things [pertaining] to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.

Numbers 23:19 "Let every man be a liar, but God remains true," is informing us that Jesus' immutable character is as dependable as His Word. Understand, if His character is good then His Word is good, & if His Word is good then we have confidence that He will not lie because He can not lie! (Hbr.6:13,20: For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, He obtained the promise. For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation [is] to them an end of all strife. Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath: That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the Forerunner is for us entered, [even] Jesus, made an High Priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.)

Luke 1:37: For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Hbr 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the CONFIDENCE and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
Hbr 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our CONFIDENCE steadfast unto the end;
Hbr 10:35 Cast not away therefore your CONFIDENCE, which hath great recompense of reward.
1Jo 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have CONFIDENCE, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we CONFIDENCE toward God.
1Jo 5:14 And this is the CONFIDENCE that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

The early disciples understood the power behind Numbers 23:19. (Mat 13:23: But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth [it]; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.)

Peter:
Act 5:15: Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid [them] on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
Stephen:
Act 6:8 Now Stephen, a man full of God's grace and power, did great wonders and miraculous signs among the people.
Phillip:
Act 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Barnabas and Paul:
Act 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness He did not abandon the Word of God, but cleaved to it. (Matthew 4:1: Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.) He quoted the Word of God to the Master Jinn. This enabled Jesus to be promoted to the next level of ministry. He spent the next 3 1/2 years ministering in the power of the Holy Spirit. He was continually in tune with His Heavenly Father, receiving daily instruction. (John 5:20: For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth Him all things that Himself doeth: and he will show Him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.)

When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, God had to revert to "Plan B," that's my phrase. Plan B meant that Jesus would have to take 1st Adam's place, but this time as a ransom for sin, because we were all under bondage to sin. In fact, sin kept us slaves to the Master Jinn, and he became our legal guardian, or father. (Jhn 8:44: Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.)

John 8:36: If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Hbr 9:14,15: How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

Finally, I consider the following scripture a suitable companion to Numbers 23:19. Romans 8:32: He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us ALL things?

Have a nice day! Thank you for listening ;-)

Eph 3:8,11 Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

WHY FAITH? WHY A FAITH MOVEMENT?

Why Faith?
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Why a Faith Movement?
1. Faith For Salvation:

Romans 10:8,10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2. Faith For Evangelism:

Mark 16:15,18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

3. Faith For A Good Report:

Hebrews 11:1,2 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
For by it the elders obtained a good report.

Hbr 3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

Hbr 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.

Hbr 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;

4. Faith For Overcoming The World:

1John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

5. Faith For A Good Fight:

1Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Eph 6:12,13 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

6. Faith For Understanding:

Col 2:2,3 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Col 2:6,7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Hbr 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

1Pe 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on Him shall not be confounded.

7. Faith For Praying & Healing The Sick

Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Mar 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.

Mar 11:23,24 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them].

Jhn 14:13,14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

CONCLUSION:
As long as there is faith there will always be a faith movement. Faith is a way of life, the way of the spirit-filled life in Christ.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Gal 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

Eph 1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

As long as there is the unseen there is faith to believe in the unseen.

1Ti 3:16 Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.

As long as there is the Word of God there is faith to believe the Word of God.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away.

Hbr 6:17,18 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed [it] by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which [it was] impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

As long as there are needs there is faith to meet those needs.

Psa 16:1;11 [[Michtam of David.]] Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.

Phl 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

2Cr 9:8 And God [is] able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all [things], may abound to every good work.

As long as there is a covenant there is faith to access that covenant.

Gal 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Hbr 10:15, 17 [Whereof] the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

As long as there are demons there is faith to undo their work.

Col 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

1John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

As long as there is love there is faith to work through love.

Rom 8:35,39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Eph 3:14,19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Col 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead

Jinn

There are many folklore, wives-tales surrounding the Jinn. Somehow, Muslims accept that there are good & bad Jinn. Supposedly, many of these Jinn will redeem themselves thru good works. Notice how superstition imitates truth like art imitates life. Could Esau's bitterness, & Yišmāʿêl's rejection be at the root of all this? What about Lot's extended family? Not that this gives us anything to boast about.

Isa 40:17 "All nations before Him [are] as nothing; and they are counted to Him less than nothing, and vanity." "But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. " Phl 3:7.

Here is another major point of weakness in the Yišmāʿêl Chronicles. YouTube this video: "Disproving Islam with Fluid from between ribs and backbones - Sura 86:5-7"

GOD IS LOVE, PERIOD!

God IS LOVE,PERIOD!

Where in the "Q" does it say "God is love?" Answer: "NOWHERE!" This is the destiny of a multitude.
Love is our greatest advantage, the bridge between God & mankind.
First reference to the "LOVE OF GOD" in the Bible:
Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he [is] God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations."

1. 1John 4:8 "God is love!" Allah who?

2. Act 13:30 "God raised Him from the dead."

Line up all the imams. Wait till they die. Whoever rises from the dead wins. JESUS WINS!

3. John 12:37 "Even after Jesus had done all these miraculous signs in their presence, they still WOULD NOT believe in Him."

Jhn 7:31 "When the Christ comes, will He do more miraculous signs than this Man?"

4. Col 2:13 "...the uncircumcision of your sinful nature"
If God wasn't a man you would be a slug; stop thinking like one!
------------------------

FAITH WORKS THROUGH LOVE:

Stop WISHING & start BELIEVING!

Galatians 5:6 "The only thing that counts is FAITH expressing itself through LOVE."

2Timothy 2:22 Flee the evil desires of youth, & pursue righteousness, faith, love & peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Satan is an equal opportunity sinner worldwide, not just in America.

Genesis 12:3 "I will bless them that bless thee."
God will bless, protect & preserve America because we love Israel.

Even our money says "IN GOD WE TRUST"

Former Muslim Rashid reveals the truth about Islam !

Rashid: Spokesman For Truth

GOD IS LOVE!

Romans 5:5 Hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.

Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

James 2:8 If ye fulfil The Royal Law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

There are Cultural Christians & Born Again Christians. Born Again Christians live by "The Royal Law of Love." They're not extremists bent on destroying muslims. They imitate the love of God as followers of Jesus Christ, practicing the fruit of the spirit:

love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
--------------------------------
Know God's love or know God's wrath!

If you understand God's wrath, then you will understand the Cross. Either you receive Jesus as Lord, God's mercy, or you receive Jesus as Judge, God's wrath.

Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish [from] the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all they that put their trust in him.

Psalm 30:5 For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.

GOOD VS EVIL

1Pe 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

3Jo 1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

George Washington Carver; Agricultural Scientist

GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER:

Agricultural scientist. Born of slave parents:

He developed more than 300 products from the peanut (including Peanut Butter), 175 from the sweet potato, and 60 from the pecan. He also invented crop rotation. In 1927, he invented a process for producing paints and stains from soybeans.

Although he did hold 3 patents, Carver never patented most of the many discoveries he made while at Tuskegee, saying "God gave them to me, how can I sell them to someone else?"
---------------------------------
Imagine moving at the speed of thought, knowing the answer to every question instantly, never forgetting a name, & no miscommunication. How nice to eat or rest for pleasure ,& not necessity. This does not compare to the "70 jealous virgin" scenario of whoremonging imposters. Read Revelation again.

Believers have a grounded approach to their faith just like scientists. If what we say about God can not be backed by scriptural proof, then we are obliged to say "in my opinion."

Pachuco: Yes, and here's the critical difference: if a scientist's opinion is peer reviewed and found to be incorrect beyond a reasonable doubt, then he or she will concede that they are incorrect, or at least acknowledge other possibilities and take it back to research. A christian, on the other hand, will hold on to his opinion for dear life, like a security blanket, and consider no other opinion, evidence or no.
A scientist will concede and reconsider, a christian will only ever "agree to disagree."

Now, now! Pachuco,

If my name ended with a "v" you would say, "what a genius." Instead, you are displaying the very logic that has hung around since the beginning of time, excuse me, the beginning of evolution. You slight the conversation to make yourself sound enlightened. Ego, ego, ego!

If I was going the wrong way I hope my friends would say so. Would I listen? Would you? Are you my friend? Have I ever met you? So, why lump me into your cloistered mind to suit your conscience then?

If you're truly scientific, get out of the grandstands & onto the field.

Suggestion Pachuco,

Relieve someone of their suffering. First, you need an idea. May I humbly suggest you peruse the Bible, if only to find a pathway for your imagination to pursue.

Unless you imagine it, you can never discover it. Try reading the Book of Revelation for ideas. Meanwhile, I'll see you in "the unseen," where the last frontier of discovery awaits, unless you don't BELIEVE it's there.

No Toddler Atheists

There are no atheist toddlers! You have to be taught to "unbelieve."

Luke 18:17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.

Attributes of a child: Love, faith, purity

Attributes of the childish: unforgiveness, stubbornness, rudeness, self-centeredness, pride, complicity

There are "fork-in-the-road moments" im our lives. Go back to the source of your bitterness & fix it. Then belief & blessing can flow again, as in your youth!

Mar 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than...

Who then can be saved? Mark 10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.

Matthew 7:14 Because strait [is] the gate, and narrow [is] the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

There are no atheists in Hell.

Are you a 1st degree atheist or a 3rd degree atheist?!

Entropy: A law that evolved from sin
Evolution: an idea that evolves from sin

Pastor Lester Roloff 1914 - 1982
"The world's greatest need is preaching preachers. The Gospel is our emancipation proclamation: let's take it to the slaves of sin."

The Meaning of the Crucifixtion

Rev 1:18 I [am] he that lives, & was dead; and, I am alive for evermore, Amen; & have the keys of hell & death.

Jhn 1:12 As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

Jesus took those "keys" from Satan on his own turf. Keys symbolize authority. Satan was stripped of his authority, because the Lamb of God, though a scapegoat for mankind, could not be legally bound by sin, because He was a sinless sacrifice.

Unusual Miracles, They Are All Unusual

Extrapolation: Outside+polish

John 11:32 Mary said, Lord, if You had been here, my brother had not died.

Jhn 11: 37, 39 Some said, Couldn't this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? Jesus therefore again groaning in Himself came to the grave. It was a cave, & a stone lay upon it. Jesus said, TAKE AWAY THE STONE. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, said to Him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he has been [dead] 4 days. Jesus said, TAKE AWAY THE STONE...

John 9:11 He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

John 5:2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep [market] a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

Live & Learn!

LP,

You can mess with me, mess with Todd, but don't mess with the Word of God. Not only is it your livilihood, Pastor =, I suppose, it is your life. Handle it with care. Let love guide you, & I am not suggesting sloppy agape. The world is watching, & so is the Lord!
Yes, tell IT like it is, but tell it like IT is.

2Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with ALL LONGSUFFERING AND DOCTRINE.

Act 10:3,6 One day at about three in the afternoon he, [Cornelius,] had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, "Cornelius!" Cornelius stared at him in fear. "What is it, Lord?" he asked. The angel answered, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea."

Understand the meaning!

LocalPastor: was anyone kicked?

Mar 7:33 And HE TOOK HIM ASIDE from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
Mar 8:23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

What we do in public or private can make all the difference
If God said spit I'd spit, wouldn't you Pastor?

LocalPastor: if Todd said kick, would you? (because God did not tell Todd to kick and the man was not healed).

I'll answer you if you answer me!

Todd Bentley

Friendship With A Muslim

If I am to be your friend I will have to be honest with you. I don't expect you to be perfect or follow my path just yet, but we must maintain mutual respect. I am willing to forgive, but my convictions remain stalwart. I want you to discover the truth, & there is only one truth. For now you have your opinion about that, & so do I. I will try to make my case without being melodramatic. I have your interests in mind.

Also, I love Israel. I am commanded to do so. I follow the path of Isaac where my faith is concerned. God preserved Yišmāʿêl because of Hagar's prayer & His compassion. From my experience His Plan B is as awesome as His Plan A if we receive it humbly & obediently. Prophecy foretells Israel will face severe tribulation, tough times, but through it, every nation will behold the glory of God. I mean, Israel is a "fishhook" to the nations, executing God's master plan. As in the days of Moses, God will glorify Himself, through a mighty deliverance of Israel. Don't plan on moving to Damascus anytime soon.

Isaiah 17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from [being] a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

If anyone doubts God's allegiance to Israel it won't be long before this doubt is removed. Afterward, we must all repent. You see, the Jews didn't recognize Jesus either. So they are not better, but they are chosen. They are servants of God, but we are sons of God, sons through adoption. Meanwhile, the first sons, who are now servants, will also return to their Messiah. This does not exclude Arabs, Persians, Asians, Russians, etc.. Jesus CAME to redeem the world to Himself. Simple, child-like faith, not a set of rigorous daily devotions, pleases God. I know because I too was trained in this rigorous fashion & found no life, no joy, & no fulfillment. We are already slaves to sin, so God never meant us to be twice slaves...to religion & sin. We are slaves to God, but love slaves. We are willing to serve Him without bars, chains, punishment, incentives, laws that cauterize free will but not the sin nature.

Isa 33:20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle [that] shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

Conversation With A Born Again Catholic

RE: ARE CATHOLICS CHRISTIANS?

God judges the heart. If you want to know how God deals with an entire group of believers read Jesus' words to the seven churches in Revelation. It begins like this: Rev 1:11 "Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."

All doctrinal issues aren't necessarily "deal breakers." "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN," walking faithfully & lovingly in the light of revealed knowledge. Gladly, the Nicene Creed espouses salvation, but it's often believed yet ignored, rendered powerless by neglect. As a former Catholic myself, had I not been challenged by another former Catholic to revisit my faith, I would have perished in apostasy. This is sobering since so many Catholics are uncertain of their eternal destiny. Consider salvation a sacrament, of primary importance, because you can't wash sin with water. Only the blood of Jesus cleanses sin, thru faith. Once my spirit is cleansed then my soul, that is, my mind, will & emotions, is ready for a lifelong transformation. Baptism signifies I am wholly dedicated to this process, "dead to the world, alive to Christ." Notice that babies aren't baptized at the Jordan River in Jesus' Ministry, or John the Baptist's.

Measuring the spiritual realm in the Universe

RE: Cosmic Blast http://www.space.com/scienceastronomy/090107-aas-loud-cosmic-noise.html

"The signal is measured to be 6X brighter than the combined emission of all known radio sources in the universe... a mystery!

Pro 25:2,3 [It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.
The heaven for height, the earth for depth, the heart of kings [is] UNSEARCHABLE.

Isa 7:11 Ask for a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

Isa 40:12 Who hath MEASURED the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?

Act 17:25,28 And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being

Biblical Creation Timeline

OZ,

5:10/ 5:30
"Biblical Creation Science is pollution of Science Education"

You confuse time & space in your scenario because you don't understand the distinction between time & space. 6000 years on a Rolex watch is 6000 years, but 6000 years on a space-time continuum is exactly what you described, & there still is God at the beginning of it.

So why do you try so hard to hide God when He is in plain sight. That is like trying to cover a pacaderm with a handkerchief.

Think again!

I am merely showing you that the Bible was written for you, anticipating your need for proof. Jesus was a real person & He had real followers & real miracles. How else can you explain how a carpenter could redefine our timeline in just three years of public ministry that ended in an ignominious death. Not to mention that his board of directors, all 12, denied Him upon His departure?

Only thinkers need apply!

Converstions With An Atheistic Science Buff

Jhn 3:12 I have spoken to you of earthly things & you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?

Jhn 8:40 You are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.

Jhn 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing...

Mat 13:13 This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
-----------------------------------------------
Hypothesis - A tentative proposal that aims to solve a problem or explain...The hypothesis must be stated in testable form.

Malachi 3:10 Prove me right now, says the LORD of hosts...

Rev 1:19 Write the things which you have seen,

Psa 34:8 O taste and see that the LORD [is] good

Jhn 8:55 & if I should say, I know Him not, I shall be a liar like you: but I know Him,

Matt 8:4 Then Jesus said to him, "See that you don't tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priests.

I am not arguing, I am interpreting your text. Clarify! You assume a person can have faith in "anything." That isn't scientific, spiritual, or philosophical. It's just Oz!

Actually I am tripping on your "chip," the one that fell from your shoulder. Why are you so skeptical? Also, I didn't compliment you. Your mission is not obvious, but you do make interesting videos with some degree of quality.

Revealed? There is your school of opinion, but then there are scientists. :-(
------------------------------------------
rationalmuscle questions "The god of Earth, Satan, orchestrated the crucifixion."

We are both right! God ordained the crucifixion but Satan orchestrated it. The purpose of the Cross is to demonstrate God's utter contempt for sin. Judas became Satan's pawn when he betrayed Jesus, but Satan was the actual pawn. Satan would have avoided tempting Judas had he known the outcome... Christ's Resurrection, the forfeiture of the Keys of Death, Hell & The Grave, & Satan's absolute defeat!

oz: I'm not following your argument here. I am not judging anyone. I'm just pointing out that religious faith and scientific assumption are two very different things.

"NOTHING learned that isn't revealed!" You mean revealed by God? Huh? Scientific theory was not revealed by God. It was "revealed" by people applying the scientific method.

OZ,
You contradict yourself with circular reasoning.

1. "Faith involves assumption" No, hypothesis involves assumption! No, faith involvles assumption!

Who is judging? Assuming you assume I am assuming, you must assume I know you are...judging.

2. Humility: NOTHING learned that isn't revealed!

3. There are scientists & those who want to be. If only logic was his guide we would still be in the Dark Ages.

Are you ready to be considered crazy till you are proven sane?

Stick with the definition & you will see that faith is supported by fact only, not unlike the process of scientific discovery. There is only one set of facts, not a plethora. Truth is not subjective. If you prostitute truth with such reasoning than you're science is flawed as well.

I don't follow quack religion any more than you follow quack science. For one who is so grounded in the evidence, you should know that "rational" is not the issue. Besides, the end of research is truth!

Hebrews 11:1,3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

PS Even God used faith to frame the world, just like you would use nails to frame a building! We are created in His image to use faith similarily! Thus, DISCOVERY!

Oz: "faith is the ... EVIDENCE of things not seen."
Since a person can have "faith" in any concept (FSM, Pink Unicorn) it can be taken as evidence of anything (UFOs, Bigfoot, Elvis lives). As such it has no rational value. Faith is a conclusion unsupported by evidence (else it wouldn't be faith). Ask a fundie what evidence would cause them to give up their faith and they'll answer "none."

Closing Comment:
"To be or not to be... " & you are still confused which to choose? The Bible provides all the answers no other book provides; where I came from, why I am here, & where I am going! Watch "Lord of the Rings" again! Also, The Matrix. These movies are parables like Jesus told, but they reveal truth, which is not hearsay, myth, or conjecture.

I may not be as smart as you, but I am not as dumb as you either.
There is no sin in asking questions. That is how children learn. Scientists are merely grown up children! Don't be so proud of yourself. Everyone is curious, but not everyone is right!

The more you know the less you know!
You say, "Hypothesis doesn't involve faith..."
I say you haven't thought it through. You are only mimicking some one else's idea.

If you really understood faith you would know that evidence is the root of faith. The scientific process involves getting to the root of the facts. You have to believe it is worth digging to find the root. I like gardens. Look for my video and you'll know why.

Hypothesis involves faith... you first pose or approach a question. Then, you propose... etc.
If you analyze the grammatical,& poetic structure of the Bible you would easily deduce that morons, & idiots could not have written the Bible.

Did you call your parents "retards" when you discovered there wasn't a Santa Claus? You haven't "discovered" there isn't a Jesus, so don't be so cocky!

Also, be careful not to insult people with special needs, ...and special hearts. If you had their heart you wouldn't insult them.

middlekk: Morons and idiots didn't write the bible.
Morons and idiots continue believe in the literal telling of stories that were OBVIOUSLY never meant to be taken as such.
The ToB story is OBVIOUSLY a "just so" myth. Who doesn't know this? Only someone without the intellectual capacity to tell the difference between history and fairy story.
Just because it doesn't start with "once upon a time" that doesn't make it real.

fallencrescent: Hypothesis doesn't involve faith... you first pose or approach a question. Then, you propose a possible explanation or hypothesis that might satisfy the question. Next, you look for evidence to support or refute this hypothesis. Then, either adjust the hypothesis or throw it out if evidence does not support the original testable potential explanation. The scientific process never requires you to have faith in anything just curiosity, ideas, and a method of testing these ideas.
OK! genius. Let's quote your book. Oh, you haven't written one! But if you did, what would be the first chapter? Perhaps, "How Babel Made ME a Moron, Retard & An Idiot.."

As for me, I know the Bible has only helped me in life. Why is Babel not plausible to you? I think your brain is getting in the way of your heart.

I'll guess your age: Judging from the 1ST insult, "moron," you're @ 40 yrs old; the 2ND, "idiot;" 30; 3RD, "retards," 20, & the 4TH insult, "talking snakes," 10.

middlekk: I can quote the Book of the Dead, the Koran, the Labors of Hercules and a wide range of other mythological accounts of mankind.
Doesn't make them any more real than your book of myths.
Emotional maturity doesn't appear to be your strong suit. I guess that's to be expected given your demonstrated lack of intellectual rigor.

rationalmuscle: (Jhndeweb, I must admit you've done a nice job of (nothing personal) fancy footwork to make the stories mesh. Just a few flaws...

// The god of Earth, Satan, orchestrated the crucifixion //

This is contrary to the teachings of both Jesus and Paul. Paul clearly says that this was planned from the beginning by God.

// Ebola virus is "dark art" of a satanic nature. //

Show me one passage where Satan "creates". // No sickness there! // Yet rebellion (see Lucifer)?

3. Was a joke. ; )

Genesis 11:7 Come, LET US go down & confuse their language so they will not understand each other."
VERSE 8: So the Lord scattered them from there over all the earth, & they stopped building the city.
VERSE 9: That is why it was called Babel -because there the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth.

Note:
VERSE 7: "LET US," reveals the Trinity. God is "One" in unity, as a husband & wife are one.
Gen 11:1; 4,6 Now the whole world had one language & a common speech.
Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves & not be scattered over the face of the whole earth." But the Lord came down to see the city & the tower that the men were building. The Lord said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.

middlekk: You're a moron.
Really. If you believe the whole Babel thing, you're a bigger idiot than those retards who believe in talking snakes.

God is an Artist, not a scientist. Science reveals His artistry. Hypothesis begins with faith, or a supposition called theory. Ironically, faith is required to explain the tangible & intangible.

Vibrations from the Big Bang exist on a space-time continuum, pointing to the Creator, as a fingerprint or signature. He is the One Who instigated the first "bang," saying, "Let there be light." Words were the substance He used to create that light, & faith gave those words substance.
Any ?'s (-:

rationalmuscle: just a few:
1. Which god? There are more than a few floating about the books of days gone by you know...
2. Do you claim that the ebola virus is 'art'? If so, please explain.
3. If God spoke, which language did he speak? Just curious as I prefer French.
Trent!

1. There are two Gods, The God of Heaven, & the god of Earth. The god of Earth, Satan, orchestrated the crucifixion, but the God of Heaven, the Resurrection. Rising from the dead resolves "which god!"
2. Ebola virus is "dark art" of a satanic nature. "Thy will be done ON EARTH as it is IN HEAVEN," was Jesus' prayer. No sickness there! Capisce?
3. God speaks the language of the spirit. Jhn 4:24 "God is spirit, & His worshipers must worship in spirit & in truth."

Christian Courage

Phil 1: 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.

James 1: 2,4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Phl 3:12, 13 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

1Th 5:23 May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 8:35, 39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [fn] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Pe 2:20, 23 For what glory [is it], if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer [for it], ye take it patiently, this [is] acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed [himself] to him that judgeth righteously:
